About Us

DieselJet was established in 2003 as a spin-off from the FIAT Research Center (CRF), today part of Stellantis Group. The company, an EASA-approved Design Organisation (DOA) and Production Organisation (POA), specializes in the design, development and production of Heavy Fuel Piston Engines for fixed-wing and rotorcraft applications.

DieselJet holds the EASA Type Certificate for its TDA aircraft diesel engine family, marking an important milestone in Italian aviation propulsion. Building on more than two decades of experience, DieselJet continues to develop advanced propulsion solutions combining performance, reliability and flexible aircraft integration.

Today, DieselJet manages the complete propulsion development process, from engineering and engine development to system integration, testing and production. Its capabilities include advanced engine control, gearbox and accessory integration, testing and technical support, providing aircraft manufacturers and integrators with a complete propulsion solution.

Certifications & Approvals

DieselJet operates under EASA-approved Design and Production Organisation standards, ensuring controlled processes throughout the development and production of its aircraft engines.

All internal procedures have been assessed and authorized by EASA during the certification processes and monitored with periodic audit programs.
