DieselJet was established in 2003 as a spin off from FIAT Research Center (CRF) (today Stellantis Group). The company, EASA certified DOA and POA, is dedicated on the engineering design, development and production of Heavy Fuel Piston Engines derived from the automotive field for Aviation (rotary and fixed wings).
DieselJet holds the EASA Type Certificate of the engine TDA 2.0 l. 16 valve rated at 217 HP as well. Thanks to this achievement, TDA is the first Italian aeronautical piston engine to obtain a Type Certificate since 1943.
DieselJet is going to obtain, within Q1 2023 the MOA certification for Service and Maintenance of Aviation Diesel and Gasoline Engines and injection systems for the major aero-engine manufacturers
